Edward is married to Sian and they live in Westcott Surrey, with their four children: Ben, Oliver, Elin and Tess, plus Tasha, their dog. A vegetarian family, they enjoy the irony of living in an old butcher's shop.

Sian is a full-time mum who is a lapsed librarian.

Ben is mad about sport.  After many years as the goalkeeper for Holmbury and Westcott Wolves, he now plays centreback for Brockham Badgers and plays cricket for Westcott Cricket Club. He has inherited the Aston Villa-supporting gene from his dad.

Oli plays football for table-topping Holmbury and Westcott Wolves under 12s A team and also plays for Dorking Wanderers, who are also having a successful season.  In the summer he plays for Westcott Cricket Club. He is working towards his grade 5 violin. He supports Crystal Palace (like his Aunty Julie) and loves otters.

Elin loves going to ballet, gymnastics, tennis and Brownies and is learning the piano. She supports Arsenal like her mum.

Tess plays tennis and is learning piano. She loves animals - especially dogs.
